Bringing the LEARN Values to Life Through Student Stories
Oasis Academy Enfield commissioned Fluent Media to produce a series of films centred around Principal Emma Robinson’s leadership style and vision for school.
The brief
This project involved creating a space for students to share how they embody the school’s LEARN values - Lead, Excel, Aspire, Resilience, and Nurture.
Oasis Basketball Academy
🏀 Former England Basketball star Perry Lawson set up the Oasis Basketball Academy in 2007, using basketball as a platform for growth, opportunity and leadership.
PSG Academy UK Partnership with OAE

4 days filming were scheduled between July and September 2025. This included OAE’s annual Careers fair, Culture Day and Diploma evening.
We created a suite of videos in different formats for promotion on different social media platforms, all of which require different aspect ratios.
The videos are also being shown on the schools website and at open evenings, welcoming Year 6 pupils and their parents, as they consider which secondary school will be right for them in 2026.
The school gained powerful tools to celebrate staff and student achievement.
The project also involved students in the production process, in front of and behind the camera, helping to build confidence and pride in their school.
Schools compete not only on results and reputation - but also their ability to connect with parents and businesses in the local community.
Storytelling builds trust and brings education to life. When students reflect on their challenges and share how they’ve overcome them, their stories embody the values the school stands for. This helps to create understanding, pride and a shared sense of purpose across the whole community.
We produced:
- 🎬 10 student films – each focused on one of the five LEARN values, told through the students’ own experiences.
- 🎥 1 x 5-minute promotional film – encapsulating Emma Robinson’s vision, the academy’s ethos, and its role within the Enfield community.
- 📱 1 x 2-minute trailer – produced in 16:9, 9:16, and 4:5 aspect ratios for multi-platform promotion (YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn).
- ⚽ PSG Academy partnership video – documenting the launch of Oasis’s collaboration with PSG Academy UK.
- Strengthened brand identity and online presence of the academy
- Boosted staff and student pride through authentic representation
- Created high-value marketing assets for ongoing recruitment and partnership campaigns
- Delivered a content ecosystem adaptable for all major digital platforms
