Increasing Positive Engagement Within the Local Community
Richmond Park Academy needed a film that would:
- Communicate their values, achievements, and distinct personality, appealing to prospective students as well as their parents.
- Use authentic student and teacher stories to create a genuine connection with viewers.
- Serve as a versatile tool for marketing and community engagement, for promotion on social media and the schools website.
Fluency Through Real Voices
This film focuses on the vision and ethos of the school’s Headteacher, Paul Mundy-Castle. His style of leadership was a source of inspiration for teachers as well as pupils within the school.
By allowing students, parents and teachers to share their personal experiences and accomplishments, the video provided viewers with a relatable glimpse into life at Richmond Park Academy, building a deeper emotional connection.
Filming was complete in 1 day, with 6 days allocated for post-production and After Effects.
High Engagement and Positive Reception
Our work on this production exceeded Richmond Park Academy’s expectations, receiving over 10,000 views on social media within 12 months of its release, and consistent positive feedback.
The headteacher and school governors felt the film articulated their values and commitment to providing the highest educational standards.
From footage captured, we subsequently produced shorter edits that were hosted on specific pages of the schools website and social media promotion, for example, encouraging partners and pupils to attend open days at the school.
